feb 8, 1820 - The First Photo
Description:
The first photo ever taken 1820 by a man called Joseph Nicephone Niepce. It was taken in Burgundy, France. The photo is very Grainy and it is hard to make out what it is just by looking at it. However it was the start of photography as we know it today. This had a direct impact on cinema as well because without cameras the ability to put images onto film cinema wouldn't be able to exist. As photography became more well known a few more photographers starting making cameras. This was because in the 19th century there was a revolution in technology not just in France but across the world especially in America and England. At the same time as this was happening the first photo recorded of people was shot. The Photo was shot by a man named Louis Daguerre and it is called Boulevard Du Temple.
