jun 25, 1098 - Battle of Antioch
Description:
The Crusaders sallied-out of the city and faced the Muslim army. Despite having the larger army, the Muslims engaged their forces in a piecemeal fashion. Bohemund prevented a potential flanking attack with a rear-guard and the Crusaders managed to hold their position. Duqaq then deserted Kerbogha's army and the Muslims lost their numerical advantage. This, combined with a devastating Christian cavalry charge, caused the Muslim army to disintergrate into a rout.
