Description:

Hearing that Kerbogha was approaching with a force of 35,000 men, many Crusaders (including Stephen of Blois) abandoned the expedition. Alexios, who was en-route to Antioch was informed the Crusade had failed and decided to return to Constantinople. After failing to initially storm Antioch, Kerbogha laid siege to the city.
