Description:

Ridwan of Aleppo advanced towards the main Crusader force outside Antioch but was drawn into a narrow battlefield by a minor skirmish with Christian cavalry. Stuck between the river and the Lake of Antioch while unable to exercise their numerical superiority, a massed cavalry charge routed the Muslim army.
