but by the time he reached the age of 80, two of his great-grandchildren had been born, his son, wiliam, had died at the age of 52 of a heart attack, and his grandson, james, was thoroughly fed up with waiting, so he manipulated his wife, valeria, into helping him kill the king by having her poison his evening tea
james was all 'if u tell a soul, i'll let everyone know that it was u who actually poisoned him'
she died two years later at the age of thirty-nine due to complications during child birth (bc she was so old when she was pregnant (not that she was old, but, uknow, biological clock and all)) and she confessed to the high priest on her deathbed what she and her husband had done
their child died, too, btw, after like a couple of days
