Description:

Chadwick was the person who discovered the neutron. All the components of the atom were discovered except the neutron. This was the missing element that could have made Bohr's theory accurate with all of the elements. Chadwick discovered that the neutrons had mass but no charge, this helped answer many questions were were about the elements and the atoms. So again building on the already understanding of the atom, we can now see that the neutron was the extra weight and it couldn't be seen because it had a neutral charge.
