William Morris was an artist, writer and socialist.The writer and artist John Ruskin (1819-1900) inspired the philosophy (morality and design) of this movement.
Morris was the leader of the Arts & Crafts: he was inspired by nature and the medieval England.
He based on guilds.
Create affordable handcrafted goos that reflected the worker´s creativity and individuality (qualities not found in industrially produced goods).
But all this had high costs so it was really expensive and not affordable for many people.
