Description:
Composed of both the Virginia Plan and the New Jersey Plan. The Great Compromise would finally establish what the legislative body of the United States would look like: a bicameral congress.
In the House of Representatives, states would be represented by population.
In the Senate, states would have equal votes (two votes per state).
Slaves would be represented under the Three-Fifths Compromise, where each slave counted as 3/5 of a person.
