Description:
The first smartphone, which was introduced in 1992 was called the ‘Simon Personal Communicator’. The machine weghied about 453 grams ( nearly half a kilogram) and was built by the IBM and bell south compaines who had teamed up to build and sell the particular device. It had a 1.5x1.4 inch LCD touch screen and many apps including email, internet, calendar, world clock etc. which was quite advanced at the time.
