Description:

The February Revolution overthrew the tsarist government of Russia in favor of an incredibly weak and unstable liberal democratic government, that would eventually admit limited socialist and reformist elements, but was still crippled by the power sharing agreement with the Soviet. Eventual unrest over the continuing war and escalation thereof in the Kerensky offensive led to the November Revolution just a few month laters. This lead to an all Bolshevik government and eventually the Russian Civil War, which produced the first communist-oriented society in human history.
