The Four Schools:

2. Maliki: Based in Medina, it heavily emphasizes the practices of the people of Medina (amal) alongside Quran and Sunnah, prevalent in North Africa and Egypt.

3. Shafi: Sought to balance Hanafi and Maliki approaches, prioritizing Quran, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus (ijma), common in East Africa, Southeast Asia, and parts of the Middle East.

4. Hanbali: The most conservative, strictly adhering to Quran and Sunnah, rejecting many forms of analogy, foundational to Wahhabism and prevalent in Saudi Arabia.
