The Prophet Muhammad, praying alone in a cave called Hira, experiences a visitation from the angel Gabriel, who commands him to “Recite.” Over the course of several years and many revelations, Muhammad mediates the verses that would become the Quran, and the religion of Islam is founded.

The Islamic religion was founded by a man by the name of Muhammad, who while praying in a cave called Hira, got visited by the angel known as Gabriel. Gabriel tells him to "recite", where he then over the course of several years stated the verses which will later become the Quran
