Description:

The Council of Chalcedon reaffirms and slightly expands the creed from Nicaea (now the Nicene-Constantinople creed) and elevates the Patriarch of Constantinople as equal to the bishop Rome. Rome rejects.

This council had some major things happening, which Rome did not approve of, like:
- Nicene Creed expended, now Nicene-Constantinople Creed
- Elevating the Patriarch of Constantinople to the same level as the bishop
