jan 1, 597 BC - Babylonian Exile
Description:
Babylonia laid siege on Jerusalem, and after they conquered them they:
- Relocated key members such as Judean royal families and religious leaders to Babylon
This caused this period to be know as the "Babylonian Exile" or "The First Deportation" since they were taking families away from their homes. Thus marked the beginning of the Diaspora Judaism
