Description:

In the late hours of April 22nd, around 6:00PM EST, the combatants of the Southwestern War would arrive on the field. This field, to the complete surprise of all onlookers, was not the Southern Hemisphere, instead, the first "battle" would take place in the Northern Hemisphere.

At around 6:00, 10 days into the war she declared, the Queen of Danzig would be spotted on Rimic Maps in the region of Daltonico. Immediately, Rimic forces, under the command of Genius Khan II, would depart Pendragon, on route to the mainland city of Fastland. However, the Queen would depart her overworked holdings in Daltonico, fleeing through the Nether to the New Kingdom of Danzig.

At around 6:10, the Rimic forces would realize this movement had occurred, from the FOB in Fastland. A plan had been created preceding the fighting, however now it had been made irrelevant. This would lead to the commander of the volunteer force from the Thulathi Theocracy, Stefan I, to create a new overall strategy for the war.

Stefan's plan would hedge on the volunteer forces of Rim launching a search and destroy mission against the Daltonican forces on the run, while native Rimic forces launched an attack on the Daltonican heartland.

At 6:33, Rimic forces would manifest over central Danzig, in the Northwestern Region. Descending onto The Rig, the NKD's production hub, where the Queen of Daltonico was positioned. Immediately, the Rimic forces would engage, and the Queen would take to the air. This would begin the first Air to Air engagement since the Tower Plateau Skirmish of the First Realm War. This Dogfight would be waged from The Rig, to the NKD capital of Xonstoople, all the way to the Old Danzig Capital of Pevnost, where the Dogfight would conclude, with Daltonican forces being forced to flee into the Nether.

Dantonese Involvement

While the Danzigians would remain neutral throughout the dogfight, the Dantonese would be seen attempting to make contact with the Daltonicans. This appearance of Dantonese forces would be seen primarily in Pevnost, where they would inadvertently impede Rimic efforts. It would later be revealed that the Dantonese had been in direct contact with Daltonican forces throughout the dogfight.
