aug 20, 1977 - Voyager 1 and 2
Description:
Satellites Voyager 1 and 2 were created to take photos up-close of Jupiter and Saturn. Voyager 1 was released later than Voyager 2 due to it's specific route. The two ships arrived to their destinations at a marvelous time where the 4 biggest planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) orbits aligned, allowing for Voyager 1 and 2 to propel themselves using the gravitational pulls from the planets. The satellites are still in space today.
