Description:

Apollo 13 was a mission made to make a lunar landing, however after 56 hours into the flight in space, an oxygen tank ruptured, causing astronauts James Lovell, John Swigert, and Fred Halse to become endangered. The crew rationed oxygen and food to achieve survival, the crew did this for about 90 hours, which was too much for a ship made to hold only two people for 50 hours. After 90 hours, the crew made a safe trip back to Earth, never being able to land on the moon. The movie Apollo 13 was made to honor this event.
