Windows released internet Explorer 4, packaging it with Windows 95, in September 1997. This put Microsoft ahead in their race against Netscape, leading to Netscape filing a lawsuit against microsoft, claiming thtat Microsoft had an illegal advantage due to their shares in teh operating system. To date, no clear solution has been reached.
