Rosa parks is an African American woman who lived through some of the most racially segregated times in history. It was to the point that people of colour were not allowed to sit with those that were white. Rosa Parks is known across the country for standing up to a white man that ordered her to move, but instead of complying, she stood up for herself and said no.
