-enslaved people stole ammunition and guns and killed the white shop owners
-marched along the stono river, freeing enslaved people, killing whites, and burning plantations
-were captured and killed
-caused more restrictive slave laws to be put in place
-showed that black slaves didn't agree with white owners justification of slavery
