sep 30, 1938 - Munich Conference
Description:
Also called the Munich Agreement, the Munich Conference was a settlement made in order to allow Germany to occupy the Sudetenland, an area in western Czechoslovakia. This conference took place in Munich, Germany, hence its name. This was a part of the German Appeasement, an era where the countries of Europe allowed Germany to keep on taking land (under Lebensraum, the idea that Germany needed more "living space") and occupying it for themselves.
