Description:
On July 27, 1794 Robespierre and his men were placed under arrest by the National Assembly. When the police raided his home Robespierre didn’t cooperate. He instead tried to end his life but failed resulting in shooting of his cheek. After they seized him, he was brought to to the hospital. The next day Robespierre and his 21 allies were executed by the guillotine and the Reign of terror ended.Added to timeline:
