In 1921, women were beginning to vote. This led them to elect a woman as a governor for Wyoming. This would lead to many more accomplishments for the women. Also in that year, Texas passed a law limiting the entrance of immigrants into the state. The people in Texas feared the spread of communism which led to the passage of this law.
