jun 18, 1924 - Immigration Law enacted
Description:
The law was enacted in 1924 due to many reasons. Many Americans were fearing that these immigrants were coming to the U.S to try and spread communism. The government also feared the same which led them to enact the law. This caused a series of deportations and many conflicts among Americans and immigrants. Americans did not know which immigrants to trust. This also put a limit on the number of immigrants that could enter the U.S
