aug 27, 1900 - Walter Reed (1851-1902 was a phatologist and bacteriologist. He was proved that yellow fever was transmitted through a mosquito. He had no strong evidence that the yellow fever was transmitted by a mosquito but there was one evidence that supported his theory. He got his evidence by mentioning that a house can get infected due to the presence of mosquitos.
