nov 7, 1917 - Propaganda

Description:

Propaganda was commonly used during the Russian revolution as a means of mass communication with the public. Propaganda is simply the use of media to communicate and influence the public or a large group of people. The Bolsheviks commonly used such propaganda to communicate with the public and this propaganda is one of the large reasons that the Bolsheviks were so successful in their revolution. They had such great communication and influence of the public. This communist group used negative images of capitalists and insulted capitalist ideas in order to gain power and gain control. These posters were also used to make the public think that this party was there to support the people and only the people. The October revolution of 1917 likely would not have happened had it not been for the impressive propaganda used by the Bolsheviks. Thus, propaganda most influenced the Russian revolution when the Bolsheviks took control of the government in the October revolution.
