Whitney: So those of you that know me well, know that I'm pretty private... but this moment was just too wrapped up in special, sweet love NOT to share.

I've been in hospital for nearly a week now...
Being in this setting, going through surgery, etc. were already scary/isolating enough... But in this Pandemic? When you have to still go through all the scariness mentioned above without the ability to be able to hold your partner's hand when you wake up, see your loved ones or have any real connection/ communication with them just makes everything so much worse - and makes it way too easy to crawl into that dark space that you feel like you'll never come out of.

And then your best @heytash sends you a series of photos like the ones here, and suddenly you remember. Everything is going to fucking be OK... It's still pretty ugly and scary out there... But kindness, love, and the people you love adapt and adjust to the world around - and always finds a way to make itself known and reminds you that it's still there for you.

Have you told your people that you love them today? If not, fucking get off IG for a minute and do it! It could change that person's day around entirely....
