Description:

The Russian Socialist Movements split into two factions in 1903. The Mensheviks and the Bolsheviks. When the groups split the Mensheviks were the minority. Still, neither faction held a consistent majority. The Mensheviks were considered the more moderate of the two groups. After the Bolsheviks took over the popularity of the Mensheviks plummeted.
