Description:
It was discovered that Soviet nuclear missiles were discovered in Cuba, very close to american shores. The U.S. government and Soviets were in a political confrontation that lasted for two weeks. It ended when the Soviet leader agreed to remove the missile so that America, in exchange, would not invade Cuba. This was one of the most terrifying events as many were sure they were on the brink of Nuclear war.
