jan 1, 336 - Excommunication of Arius Lifted

Description:

The synod at Jerusalem lifted the excommunication of Arius. The synod also asked the emperor to reinstate him as a presbyter. Arius was apparently so excited that his weak heart couldn't take it, and ended up dying before it could be done.
