Description:

Mosley was one of Macdonald's ministerial appointments who was made Dutch of Lancaster. He was in a group that targeted unemployment. His suggestions were: greater use of tariffs to raise revenue, using this money to fun pensions and unemployment cover, early retirement schemes that were funded to open up jobs for younger people and government control of the banks to prevent financial problems arising. The cabinet rejected his suggestions as they were too expensive or impractical. His rejection caused him to found the BUF.
