Along with the sports equipment left in the tunnels, there are also records of Carleton’s sports successes and taunts toward rival colleges. The particular picture above appears to reference a pair of men’s club volleyball games against the U of M (of University of Minnesota) team, occurring on 2/14 and 3/7 of 1983, with respective scores of 3-0 and 3-1. While unfortunately as a club team there is no official archivist or report of the games to which to refer, the men’s team in both 1982 and 1983 proudly made records of their accomplishments in the artwork left behind in the tunnels.
