Carleton used to lead tunnel tours through the closed tunnels, but this was stopped after a variety of criminal incidents and damaged properties as well as for safety concerns. This is one reason that Carleton is reluctant to map the tunnels or to open visitor access to the tunnels, although it is said that many Carleton students have found their own way in.
