Description:

1,500 Cuban exiles that were Anti-Castro, trained by the CIA, attempted to overthrow the Cuban Government. The attack did not work and was viewed as JFK's biggest failure as a president, but his response was viewed as respectable. Kennedy took full credit for the debacle and in doing so gained trust and respect from the people.
