Four Groups were Involved in Peace Talks- USA, North Vietnam, South Vietnam, and The Vietcong. They all wanted conflicting things. North Vietnam wanted to keep troops in the south but the south wanted independence, but obviously that was not going to happen. The US wanted war prisoners to be set free. The talks did not lead to peace.
