Esparza said under oath that she did not see any visible injuries to Heard’s face or body in the days following the incident and up to the time the police investigated. She explained how close in proximity she was to Amber and claimed there were no visible injuries.
However, Esparza did note that on May 27, six days after the reported incident, Heard did have a visible injury, including a “red cut underneath her right eye and red marks by her eye.”
