7h 43min, jan 1, 1903 y - Mensheviks

Description:

The Mensheviks were originally part of the Russian Social-Democratic Workers' Party, but then split in 1903 into the Mensheviks, led by L. Martov, and the Bolsheviks, headed by Lenin. The Menshiviks were the minority, with more moderate views, and they wanted a party based off of Western-European ones. The Mensheviks did not think that the Proletariat should rise up over the Bourgeois. They participated in the 1905 Revolution, and then over time became their own formal party in 1917. When the Bolshevik Revolution started in 1922, the Mensheviks tried to oppose them, but they failed, and many members went into exile.
