Johnny Depp's Kentucky home (carpeted kitchen and all) for sale - again
Johnny Depp's home and horse farm in Lexington is for sale again, listed for $1.6 million.
But the home isn't what you'd expect from a movie star like Depp.
Photos inside the 6,635-square-foot ranch reveal country-style furnishings and more traditional decor (plus, carpet in the kitchen!).
Depp bought the estate in 2005 for his mother, Betty Sue Palmer, and named it Betty Sue's Family Farm in honor of her.
Depp, who is from Owensboro, relisted the property in October at a lower price after it failed to sell for $2.9 million at an auction in August 2017. Depp's portfolio managers rejected the top bid of $1.4 million from radio personality Rick Dees, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.
The estate, at 5493 Versailles Road, is listed by Rector Hayden Realtors.
The farm sits on about 41 acres. It's 2 miles west of the Keeneland racetrack and includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and two barns with 12 horse stalls. It also has a four-car garage, in-ground pool, separate guest house and five paddocks.
The Fayette County Property Value Administrator has placed the fair cash value of the farm at $2.3 million.
