Description:

Insulin is a medicine/cure for diabetes, founded by a team at the University of Toronto and suggested by Doctor Frederick Banting in Summer of 1921.
By spring of 1922, Toronto researchers; Banting, Charles Best,J.B Collip, and their supervisor: J.J.R. Macleod, were able to find a cure called Insulin.
In 1923, Banting and Macleod has received the Nobel Prize for one of the most important (also most controversial) breakthroughs in history. Millions of diabetes sufferers found relief from this disease by emerging a therapy. With this discovery, the question of diabetes become one of the quality of life, and not the speed of death.
