Description:

Signed in the Palace of Versaille in France, this treaty marked the end of WWI. The terms of the treaty were negotiated by the great powers of the war. It included the U.S., Britain, Italy, and France. Some wanted the punishment for Germany to be very severe, while the other half didn't want it to be too extreme.
