D-Day happened. Japan bombed the naval base at the harbour of Hawaii, leading the US to join the war. 155,000 troops including 50,000 vehicles, 11,500 aircraft and 7,000 naval craft supported the invasion of invading France behind German lines as 23,000 paratroopers dropped there.
