mar 4, 1951 - MacArthur’s Letter
Description:
General Douglas MacArthur was in charge of the forces fighting against North Korea. When China warned the US to stay away from the Yalu boundary (where they were cornering the North Koreans), MacArthur sent a letter about how he wanted to declare war on China. However, President Truman of the United States wanted to avoid starting further violence and fired the general.
