3h 28min, mar 10, 1904 y - The Licensing Act
Description:
This was introduced to regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol to protect children and prevent adulteration in alcoholic drinks. The non-comformists, already angry about the Education Act, were not impressed. This act publicly condemned the clauses in the act which provided generous consumption to the brewers and landlords who faced getting their license taken off them due to the new liquor regulations.
