Founded in Kanpur by Ram Prasad Bismil, Jogesh Changdra Chatterjee, and Sachin Sanyal with the aim to organize an armed revolution to overthrow the colonial government. Was later changed to the HSRA by Chandrashekhar Azad.
Constitution was written by Sachindranath Sanyal.
