Description:

After Secretary of State George Marshall toured post WWII Europe. What he saw sickened him. Many of these countries were bankrupt and barely had any supplies or wealth. So, Marshall proposed the Marshall Plan or European Recovery Program. This program granted millions of dollars of aid to weakened European countries. This also helped these countries fight the spread of communism.
