Description:
The gramophone was invented by Emile Berliner. It is the original name of what we now cal Vinyl or Records and was the first disc shaped recording medium. It became the primary medium of used for music reproduction until late in the 20th century. In its early day it was made of shellac but is now made of polyvinyl chloride as it is much stronger.Added to timeline:
