Description:

The Everglades erupt with plant creatures, the spores of the Cotati. Shanna and Kaiser are brought in to help, given their familiarity with Krakoa. They make their way to the centre of the jungle, where they find Sallis, completely absorbed. Using him, it communes with Shanna and reveals that the Cotati were an alien spore seeking reproduction. When it came to Earth, it was defeated by the people of the land, and taken to Krakoa to isolate it. They explain that it can't have the Earth. It responds that it won't let go of the land it has taken.
