Description:
Rosa Park, an Afro-American refused to give up her seat to a white man while on the bus. She was arrested, and her arrest sparked a bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama. The boycott lasted over a year.This event forced the end of segregation on public buses in Montogomery.
