As part of the triangular trade, America obtained slaves.England sent goods to Africa, Africa sent slaves to America, lastly, goods produced by the slaves at the plantations were sent back to England - Like a triangle.
Between 1700 to 1800 an estimated 250,000 slaves were taken to America.
