-[Shou/Tu] Invasion of the Southern Barbarians. An invasion of southern barbarians overruns the Wetpeng garrison and Kahgang Su. For the first time local forces outnumber those loyal to the emperor in the armies repelling the invasion. The invasion ends suddenly and the barbarian forces retreat. The cause of the retreat is unknown, but guessed to be the death or other loss of the barbarian's charismatic leader. Many of the clan militias and mercenary forces formed during this invasion remain in place after this time.
